The Hoop Dreaming Project have partnered with the PCYC to host the 2008 H.D.P Positive Futures Basketball Tournament.  The Tournament will be held over three days - January 25, 26 & 27 at the Bendigo Bank Basketball Centre in Cairns.  Teams from all over QLD will be invited to compete and the PCYC Indigenous Basketball Program is providing some funding for participating teams to help subsidize travel costs.

The Tournament is separated into Junior and Senior divisions.  In the Junior division male and female teams will compete in Under 14, Under 16 & Under 19 age groups.

The Senior division consists of four men’s invitational teams.  These teams are – Team Hoop Dreaming, Port Moresby All-Stars, Under 23 Cairns Marlins and the Under 18 Cairns Marlins.
